Narrative
Original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games are featured in this animated anthology series. Video games have made the leap to the screen in a big way, and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations into movies and shows. Clive Standen will reprise his voice role of Demetrius Titus, the main character from the video game Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game.
I really enjoyed this show!
I was really disappointed when I saw critics saying this show was half-baked. I’ve watched it and all I can say is most of the critics are wrong. The episodes could have been longer, that’s my only complaint honestly. If you love video games, definitely check this show out.
It’s a quick watch too
Now I want to replay some of these games after watching their episodes. I imagine Secret Level’s goal is to attract new gamers, and in that sense, I think they succeeded. There was also heart in a lot of the episodes, which I really liked as well. I hope this show is successful enough to warrant a second season.

If they do make a second season, the only thing I think they need to improve is the length of the episodes. I really wish they were all at least 20 minutes long. Overall, though, I’m thankful that we were able to have this show because video games mean a lot to a lot of people, including me. Thank you to all the people who worked hard to bring us this show.
